Painful Overdose

I feel like an empty shell,
Living in my personal Hell.
I manage a smile,
But it won't stay for a while.
The days go by,
I do my best not to cry.
My heart is aching,
My thoughts are shaking.
Sick of trying,
Feel like dying.
No one notices that I'm not okay,
This is something I dare not say.
My vision is blurring,
These feelings are swirling.
The pain in my wrist fades away,
The bathroom floor is where I lay.
The razor is dripping wet,
The blood on the towel has not yet set.
You said that you loved me,
I gave you my hearts key.
Then you threw me away,
Just like yesterday.
You're what hurt the most,
You gave my heart a painful overdose.
As I lay here and fade away,
I think of our past days.
