Butterfly and the Flame

A candle light flickers in the surrounding darkness of the room.

A negative colored butterfly flutters ever so closely to the flame enticed by the soft glow.

A flame leaps onto the wings and eats hungrily at the delicate pair like a starving animal.

As the butterfly tries to fly a sudden

POOF

and then there is only a pair of black and white wings and the smoldering candle left in the surrounding darkness of the room.

The wings unable to flutter anymore and the candle burnt all the down to the thin wick.
