Rabbit-Boy

I Hate That God Damned Rabbit-Boy:
Sitting on the front lawn mocking me.

He came here from the Devil:
She lives around the corner.

Set him down by the tree, and it began:
He lures me out of the house.

He locked me out with those glossy eyes:
It took an hour to get back in.

I hope he dies:
And goes to Hell again.

I Hate That God Damned Rabbit-Boy:
Sitting on the front lawn mocking me.

His cute little ears:
Twiching.

Those glossy brown eyes:
Watching.

God damn cotton-tail:
So mocking.

I Hate That God Damned Rabbit-Boy:
Sitting on the front lawn mocking me.

I'd throw him out to the street:
If I knew I'd get away with it.

I'd throw him to the sidewalk:
If I knew he wouldn't crawl into my dreams.

I'd ship him off to China:
If I only knew he couldn't hop on back to me.

I Hate That God Damned Rabbit-Boy:
And the woman who brought him here.

One glance out the window:
And all he does is stare.

One day I do so swear:
I will kill that Rabbit.

But as for now:
All I can do is hate.

I Hate That God Damned Rabbit-Boy.
