Losing Love

Sometimes us kids fall to fast,
And we never know what's true.
I fell in love just to feel special.
And he followed just to tag along,
he never cared.

Months flew by and we played pretend for the longest.
No one ever caught on.
Holding hands like we really knew eachother,
Kissing like we knew we were going to get married someday.

And I thought it was real, I thought it was forever.
Sometimes us teens act like kids.
Pretend was getting boring, so our feelings were true.
School was ending and our time was running out.
He was moving and I was staying.
Found out he was glad, cause he was still pretending,
And I wasn't faking,

We said our goodbyes.
His last words were all lies.
While mine were the truth.
He went away and fell in love with a blonde haired blue eyed girl
While I was stuck on him.
