Imitation Poem

If I turned back time and hugged you instead of watching you walk away, then I want to feel the warmth of your body against mine—don't let me go, let me be surrounded by your embrace forever and ever.

If I let you go and had another chance in the future, then I want you to convince me that second chances are not given lightly --- don't let me be foolish and pretend to be strong, let me feel the hurt when your not there so I choose to stay in your embrace forever and ever.

If I fight for something and you fight against me, then I want us to get past it together—don't let the argument separate us forever let it only be friendly competition so that I can stay in your embrace forever and ever.

If I get lost and can't find my way, then I want you to reassure me that you are there--- don't let me drift for too long, let your light guild mine back, so I can stay in your embrace forever and ever.
