A Night Out

Breaking kisses in the wind, piercing noises in the night.
It kills me softly with every touch.
Every day goes by, every moment fades to black.
In the rain, I hear a voice calling me sweetly.
And in the distance a tear is visible.
Crystal castles where mechanical brides rest and voices are heard weeping, fragments in the breathless wind.
Eyes wide open; I step into the darkness, hair blowing in the breeze.
Keeping hold of sleepless night.
Holding on tightly to shards of light, bloody hands hold cryptic letters forgotten for eternity.
Eyes glinting in the horizon.
I made my way down the path where vultures sing and smoke billows from the trees.
Keeping backyard lights in sight.
It takes me time to swing from vine to vine.
Crimson lips pursing in determination, golden guns set in sight.
A night out brings the horror of the morning to reality.
A sliver of gold rises in the east, and the morning is upon me.
Till the next night out.
