Adultery

The fiery pits of hell came into view
As a bus full of awaiting passengers rolled through
They chose to live their lives in sin
So an eternity of pain and suffering was about to begin
Among them was a woman of middle age
Who killed her husband in a fit of rage
It was something she was willing to do
For another love who was real and true
Her deep brown eyes showed no sign of fret
For the horrible crime she wouldn’t regret
Her plain white dress was tattered and covered
With the sweat and blood of her former lover
She was a small woman, sort of petite
And had an attitude that was very upbeat
Her smile was wide and her posture was straight
As she sat in her seat, anticipating her fate
