After Life

Funny how you’re here one moment
And gone the next
With your short life to look back on
Left to reflect

You never know when you’ll go
Life is just a guess
Each day inching toward the end
Seconds less and less

Don’t Regret. Just keep living
Always smile never frown
Your past wont matter
When your in the ground

Whether it’s heaven or hell
A new life or darkness
Where ever we go
God will bless

Suddenly we’ll know we’re not breathing
This is not a dream
Suddenly we’ll be torn from what we know
All we can do is scream

Some think deaths a natural thing
Some think its serene
Some think it’s a horrible thing.
I think it’s in between.

Once we age
We’ll surely die
Even if you waste away your life
Not giving it a try.

Some go to heaven
Some go to hell
I quite frankly don’t care where I’ll go
Because you can tell

Life is Life
And Death is Death
Relax for now
Take a breath

For it may be your last.
