Facebook

A late summer night, I have no social life
So of course I'm on Facebook
I don't really recall, having much a life at all
But whatever one I did, Facebook took

It's funny and ironic, these stupid electronics
How they're starting to make the world go 'round
“Stay connected with friends”, “the fun will never end”
It's more depressing than it sounds

Whether it's alone on Sunday, or lonely on Monday
I sit on the computer for twenty four hours
If ya wanna get at me, just pop up a chat with me
And with notifications I am showered

The Social Network is treating, but also very misleading
Because my friends are all through the Internet
The people I once talked face to face, are in a much better place
I fought, but what Facebook wants, oh it gets

I fight this addiction, and humiliation
Because you see online, I'll never go idle
The popular people don't understand, they've got friends, they've got plans
Facebook, why u so versatile?

I talk in Memes now, I don't know why, I don't know how
Umad bro? Forever alone
Facebook will keep me company, with my over 300 interwebz friends come in handy
As I sit at home.

A late summer night, I have no social life
So of course I'm on Facebook
I don't really recall, having much a life at all
But whatever one I did, Facebook took
