She walks alone,
Trudging through the rain,
Light hoodie soaked,
Hair plastered back revealing white scalp,
Alone.

She walks alone,
Hiding in the shadows,
Covering the bruises,
Her daddy hit her again finger marks imprinted,
Scared.

She walks alone,
Wearing the same clothes every day,
People glaring, staring,
They know something is wrong but do not bother asking,
Ignorance.

She walks alone,
When her daddy grabs her,
Pulls her hair and slaps her,
Just new scars and marks to hide tomorrow,
Hurt.

She walks alone,
In the sweet afterlife,
Her daddy took it way to far,
The police took action way to late,
Free.
