Cheese!

Cheese, sweet cheese,
An easy, edible delight.
Edam and Ementale,
Enjoyable with Marmite.

Essential to everything,
Evidently the best.
I'm entitled to have some,
And then all the rest.

Examine your cheeses,
Your Gloucestershire snacks.
Equal to heaven,
Is Monteray Jack.

Energised by your meal,
You can entertain friends.
And have cheese upon crackers,
For when the day ends.

An Earth with no cheeses,
The thought fills me with dread.
What evangelical food,
Would I put on my bread.

I heard in Bulgaria,
They make it from sheep.
If you tried that in Wales,
All the farmers would weep.

Whether melted or grated,
Or in a fondue.
With all the cheese out there,
There's sure one for you.

So if ever enquired,
About what to eat.
Please do remember,
This delectable treat.

This was a task set to me by a close friend. To write a poem about cheese with as many E's in it as possible. I count 113.
