Sadness
She feels so alone
She is invisible to all
She bows her head low
As the tears start to fall
No one speaks to her
No one says her name
No on gives her a second glance
She always feels the same
She wonders where all this pain came from
If maybe it's all in her mind
She hopes that maybe it's all a dream
She'll wake up with her own kind
Her life feels
Like an old blues song
No matter what happens
She just keeps pushing on
She carries a burden
So much heavier than ours
Her problems, she feels
Are numerous as the stars
Sitting alone, she wonders
If she could just make it all end
If she had the strength to take out a knife
And right there and then
Take her own life
She is invisible to all
She bows her head low
As the tears start to fall
No one speaks to her
No one says her name
No on gives her a second glance
She always feels the same
She wonders where all this pain came from
If maybe it's all in her mind
She hopes that maybe it's all a dream
She'll wake up with her own kind
Her life feels
Like an old blues song
No matter what happens
She just keeps pushing on
She carries a burden
So much heavier than ours
Her problems, she feels
Are numerous as the stars
Sitting alone, she wonders
If she could just make it all end
If she had the strength to take out a knife
And right there and then
Take her own life
