A shadow in the dark;
To be you never cease
I stare through you with widened eyes;
My lips set in a tightened crease

To say I love you is an understatement
Yet to say I hate you could also be partly true...
I abhor this detestable situation
When verabscheuen is the term that you would use

I suppose the fault is at my door,
Though this is hardly something I could foresee
The winter is upon us,
And with it you'll shine with glee

As I sulk in sorrow and self-hatred,
I cannot help but wonder....
What do you think would have been created?
