But We've Lived

There is nothing to fear except for the unnatural life that fills us
A slow death in which we originally born to achieve
It eat us alive starting at birth and makes us believe differently
We start to grow, become taller, grow to realize who we are
Then it sticks it's ugly head in
We become wizened with what they call age
Our hair may get gray, and our skin develops wrinkles
We grow slow, and some shrink by maybe an inch as the monster takes hold
It sucks out our life...
...but we've lived
