This time, I'll drown you

You've heard it all before.

Screeching lullabies
rotted your mind but I
am supposed to fix you –
I always wanted to fix myself first.

That word – y-o-u – makes my
heart crumble.

Frowns were hidden under
clown's masks and the
"innocent" children told me –
the happiest people are
always the saddest.

They tell me,
It's luck you didn't kill someone!
And I just want to whimper,

Now the word y-o-u
makes me shiver.
