One nation under god

This peice of you ill keep with me,
these memories of who we used to be,
moments that made us who we were,
all the time spent passed in a blur,
all the feelings we openly shared,
if only they knew how much we cared,
maybe the world will finally see,
that thier freedom never ment free,
we learned to live behind a disguise,
trying to uncover the whys of their lies,
i gave my all in this endless fight,
destroying the wall that held me tight,
all the wrongs they thought were right,
my standing tall is losing its might,
i hope the world will one day see,
how thier freedom was never free,
they ruined the hope that we designed,
only for thier selfish peace of mind,
they pretended to live following his word,
they only heard what they preferred,
they judged me based on thier mistrail,
theyre finding relief in thier denial,
one day this world will finally see,
that freedom should really mean free,
what can wesay so theyll understand,
that things change along with man,
there are no limits mentioned in the book,
cause they shouldnt limit based on looks,
we no longer live by his stone rules,
we made up our own opinion of cruels,
this world has never looked to see,
if thier freedom was what it means,
he above will never prematurely judge,
the steps that sent us to finding love,
cause love has no limits or a set price,
love should conquer all was his advice,
nowyou see when I saw this world is flawed,
we're no longer 'one nation under god'
