Walking Out My Door

You’re paper thin
you’re invisible
I can see right through you
Right into your soul
Suddenly you’re not so complex
and I realise your just a mess
another concoction of selfishness
to add to this world’s shallowness

No that I know this
Now that I see
I realize that you, my dear, are not so pretty
you’re full of lies, and hateful deceit
you make people feel like dirt at your feet
you think you walk on water, when your really drowning
you think you’re being crucified
when it’s you whose crucifying

So I’m no longer scared
I will no longer take it
I don’t care if you hate me
I don’t care if you don’t like it
your approval to me, is no longer worth dying for
Your nothing to me, and your walking out my door
