Lost in the Star's Ashes

The walls of my heart have been replaced with concrete and cement;
commencing the beginning of the darkness’s lament.
Stars and meteorites dart across my skies,
whispering fictional stories, continuous lies.

Trickling rivers of angst and anger,
fury & pain;
my tormented thoughts and silenced cries the paver.
What's a loss if there was never a gain?
Encrypt sad tragedies into the soft pallid of my arms.
Lend me a telescope and show me the ways of the stars.

Two feet glued down to the past,
traveling mind weighed down by an 18-ton hourglass.
Feel the break,
perceive the smash;
blood trickles down her spine,
ending in piles of darkened ash.

You were never here;
don't you dare come back.
