Blessings

I paced the room,
Make- up?
Hair?
How will the new me and the old one compare?

I walked to the doors,
Smile?
Wave?
It's too late now, I have to be brave.

I approached the table,
Hugs?
Tears?
I guess family means facing your fears.

I took my seat,
Talk?
Be silent?
I should know by now that I'm not one to stay quiet.

We said goodbye,
For now,
Not forever,
God blessed me in ways that I can't get over.

I get to my house,
Sleep?
Write?
