Trapped

We’re trapped in an ocean of decay
A crumbling society falling around us
I cling to the coattails of the past
Begging to be set free

We wish for adventure in this prison
But what you and I know not
Is how we destroyed all possibilities
Trapped in this jail cell throwing rocks at each other
