What She Wrote

She wrote a story and called it Snow
This was her seventh winter
Her teacher said it was great
Her mom thought it was great
They hung it up in the living room
For everyone to see
She read it everyday
Her nieghborhood friends came over
Just to read it
Her aunt and uncle came over
And they read it too

She wrote a poem and called it Flying
It was all she wanted to do
Her teacher said it was good
Her mom thought it was good
She hung it up in her bedroom
So only a few could see
She never read it
Her friends read it all the time
After a month she took it down

She wrote a song and called it Blaze
It's all that she would do
Her teacher thought it wasn't appropiate
She didn't show her mom
She kept it in her binder, along with others
Only her boyfriend saw it
He thought it was okay
So she kept it in her binder
She never read it again

She wrote a note and called it Hello
That's all she was trying to say
She showed it to her crush
He laughed at her and made her cry
She crumbled it up and threw it away
She never wanted to see it again
No one ever saw it

She wrote a story and called it Apathy
She didn't understand it
Her teacher thought it was strange
Her mom said she read it, but she didn't
She kept it in her notebook
She didn't show anybody else
She was afraid they would laugh

She wrote a poem and called it Dead
Because that's what she felt
She kept in a folder by her bed
So she could always be reminded
She was reminded everyday
