Masked

May thy eyes not fool thy mind,
Just a man with a few secrets.
Do not trust the mask he hides behind.

For his eyes seem to look straight through,
Smiles and smirks like a fox’s face.
With what thoughts he may brew,
For the unknown we should brace.

But he shall be of no harm to thee,
Since this time of day he is of right mind.
He thrives near the forests trees,
The village people’s eyes are blind.

Thy soon will know what he hides,
Moon with full face soon will rise and so will his true face.
