A Choice to be Made

An easy way out.
A choice to be made.
They look without a sound.
A road to take.

Without a doubt-
they'd choose the route,
the easy way out.

But who can blame?
It's less of a pain.
But I went the other way.
A choice I made.

Though this path is difficult,
and I still struggle each day.
It is I who will have the wisdom.
It's the choice that I made.
Who else can relate?
Or is it I who stands alone?
A choice to be made...
