A Gun to My Head

He never seemed to belong with them,
So many things had gone wrong for him.
His smile as beautiful as ocean waves,
His eyes even pretties when he caves.

He played a nasty game with his own head,
Drugs becames every moment, hiding the dread.
I watched his dangerous little dance, I began mine again.
Tripping down this road, is somewhere I swear I'd never be again.

The stars in his eyes his dream on his heart,
Put down the pipe, that's a start.
Stumbing along with a bottle to my lips,
He steadied me before my body tips.

Such a shame he tried to throw his life away.
Looking at old photos, were those people worth throwing him away.
A hero in so many ways he saves my life everyday.
He is my bestfriend, He promised to stay.

Click. A gun to my head, If he wasn't there I'd be dead.
He saved me form myself,
Who's going to save him?
