Broken Toy

Once upon a time there was a girl with raven hair
And lips red as roses with a smirk free of care
One glance in her bright eyes would undo your moral soul
She'd pull you in and love you only to spit you back out whole
She'd kiss for all the sorrow built up inside her heart
Filling the void inside her though she knew it wasn't smart
But rather than a warm lovely feeling awakening inside
It was just a numb distraction from a love that long ago died
For now she can only hurt the ones she wants to save
But the lust in her mind is the only thing she craves
So be careful not to look too deep into her cloudy eyes
Because she will break you down and from that you'll never rise
Fear her like a monster in your closet hiding at night
She's bound to lie for her hearts sake, she'll never see the light
But I pity her, a sad lonely girl
She doesn't mean to make you cry
Shes just a broken toy
