The Call of Insanity

Can you hear this?
Does the sound pass your ears?
It's the nothingness that I've spoke of,
The sound I've heard for years.

Not deaf but blind in the ear,
Noise drowned in a static sea.
Perhaps if you close your eyes and open your mind,
These voices you may see.

Tis not the sound of an angel
Nor is the tremor of hell,
Simply look around by your ears,
Maybe the voices you can tell.

In the sickening silence,
A voice is screaming high.
A deadly bloodcurdling shriek,
But by your ears it drifts right by.

I hope you can hear the sound,
See the noise in your head.
I know you can sense it there,
Especially when you make to bed.

Don't deny it any longer,
And see the voice screaming through.
May it pierce your ears to the draw of blood.
The flesh ripping call is you.
