The Most Beautiful Wreck

Tan Skin,
Hair like night,
Curves to kill,
That's the initial sight,

Look closer and see,
Steps like a strut,
Voice like sugar,
Speaking the words of a slut,

Get to know her,
She'll make you smile,
With her heart like gold,
You're tempted to stay a while,

But then you kiss,
Yes, that's the start,
Something is wrong,
It pierces like a dart,

Off comes her shirt,
And everything is fine,
Suddenly you're in a rush,
There's no time,

But then you see,
The secret she hides,
You never would have guessed,
How well she lies,

There on her legs,
You were trying so hard to spread,
Cuts so deep,
Its a miracle shes not dead,

Has your heart stopped,
She can't look you in the eye,
Shes never told anyone,
How much she wants to die,

Then you start to think,
How little she ever eats,
The crazy things she says,
Whenever she starts to speak,

And then she looks up,
On the brink of tears,
She's been this bloody secret,
For far too many years,

But its not your problem,
You get up and walk away,
Maybe if you'd said just one word,
She'd lived to see another day
