Just A Kiss

A kiss is like a flower
So delicate and pure
It can mend a broken heart
Just like that, you're cured

A kiss is also torture
When the meaning is unclear
You don't know what to do with it
But decide to hold it dear

A kiss is like a butterfly
So innocent and swift
It enthralls you with it's beauty
And can mend a painful rift

A kiss is also violent
Being tender and so slow
It can rip apart your safety walls
And hit you like a blow

A kiss is like a rainbow
Full of colors shining bright
It can lift you overtop the clouds
And help you fly just like a kite

It can come with different meanings
Full of pain or full of bliss
But if you think about it hard enough
In the end it's just a kiss
