House of Cards

Like a house of cards I stand, like a house of cards I fall, flimsy, uninhabitable and blunt, but still strong and standing. Only the heavy hand of anger and hatred will knock me down and flatten me, but still I am picked up and set right by the gentler hand of peace and love. Like a house of cards I stand, like a house of cards I fall, pushed by my anger to tear myself apart and flatten pieces scattered, but still I learn to love again and rebuild and start a new. Like a house of cards I stand, like a house of cards I fall, fear being my weekness to show how I feel towards another and I crumble, but foolish bravery is my savior and again I'm reconstructed. Like a house of cards I stand, like a house of cards I fall, but I'm never down for long.
