Though people often grow apart,
I hope this friendship stays in your heart.

or all those sandwiches that we halved.

Don't forget the conversations we had,
about the people who made us mad.

Don't forget how we joked around,
or when you helped find things I thought could not be found.

Don't forget the notes we passed,
and how often I told you I don't like to be sassed.

Don't forget the fights we had that brought us closer together,
and how we always said we would be best friends forever.

Because even if we don't stay friends,
we'll have all of those sweet memories until the very, very end.
