Taken By Dawn

Snow covers the ground
It now has been poisoned
All around

She lays there pail and cold
Tears turn to ice
Fighting it, got old
She gave up, now twice

Her breath mists
From her freezing lungs
Crystallizing and twists
Her death has now begun

Do not worry
This is what she wished
Though she is sorry
But happy shes finished

Her blood pools
Tainting the snow beneath
Her smile, for the fools
But now, not showing her teeth

What she felt for so long
The pain and sorrow
Thankfully now gone
Shes not awaking tomorrow.

Cold, dead and stiff she lay
Her body vanishing away
Into the breaking dawn
Of day.

Goodbye
Was all she had
To say.
