Deeply Personal Words

deeply personal words taking
flight as birds,
soaring past the heart,
south for the winter,
soon becoming nothing more than
a splinter in time,
to rhyme the beats of my
heart with the words in my head,
but all I have ever said
can't find it's way upon
stages,
performing for audiences of all ages,
for these pages hold deeply personal
words that can't be preached on this terminal,
beyond what you can perceive
for these experiences
were only for me to receive,
a life conceived at the
backside of reality and sensuality
with deeply personal words poured out by men
friends
zen moments
the Bible
revival
survival
the libel
titles
idols
mothers
brothers
and others that bore and tore
my life with scars and bars
of poetry for you must
know it see,
that these are deeply personal words,
absurd,
backward,
and overall,
just poetry.
