I NEEDED HER

Her elegant frame was too much.
The way she flaunted her body,
The way her hair fell in her face,
I needed her.
The way the music pounded
Giving my animistic desires
A way to manifest themselves.
The bass drove my body, but soon,
She decided to leave.
She exited out the door,
Leaving this human watering hole,
And entering the cold dark world
With the rain falling from the sky.

I followed her along in the shadows,
She looked over her shoulder,
I kept my face hidden,
Unable to look into her beautiful eyes.
She kept walking into the dead of night,
As I followed her.

She looked over her shoulder again,
My face still hidden, but I could hear her heart pound.
She saw the same familiar shadow.
I kept walking with my face hidden.

This time she started to walk a little faster.
Oh no, my sweetie. You’ll be mine.
I picked up the pace behind her.
She would not escape.

She looked over her shoulder,
The shadow moved closer to her.
She began to run.
Oh, you can run your little heart out.
I began to chase her.
She took a hard left to an alley,
And slipped.

Into the ground she fell.
She was to be mine now.

I was upon her.
She tried to scream,
But before that happened I covered her mouth.
She tried to struggle,
But her strength isn’t enough.
I ripped her clothes off,
Taking my dominant position
As I unleashed the beast.

In my moment of passion,
I lost control of her for but a moment.
Her hand came forth like an eagle’s talon.
She slashed my left eye.

God did that hurt.

But it only made me want her more.
She was loosed. She attempted to run.
Further into the corridors of the city.
Further down into that dark space,
The darkness that I called home.

I caught her again, with one quick jump,
I was upon her once again.
She was screaming.
“Please! PLEASE DON’T!”

I HAD TO HAVE HER.
I HAD TO HAVE HER NOW.
SHE MUST BE SILENCED.

I grabbed her head and pounded it against the pavement.
Once.
YOU NEED TO BE QUIET.
DON’T TALK TO ME NOW.
YOU MAY THANK ME WHEN I AM FINISHED.
I MUST HAVE YOU.

Twice.
YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT TOO.
I CAN TELL THAT YOU WANT IT TOO.
JUST TAKE IT.

Thrice.
The lightning struck in the heavens,
Releasing me from the trance I was in.

Then she was still.
I knew that she wanted it now.
I did the deed.
I had her just like I wanted her.
But it did not satisfy.
I left her in that alleyway.
Opened like a gentle flower.
Her red streams pouring from her head.
The rain cleaning up the mess that I had left.

I went back to my apartment.
Took off my wet coat,
Gave my cat some food since I had been out practically all day.
Then I drifted off into a sound sleep.
