Sunken In Limbo

Baked like a cake your smiles so fake
Slurring your words, distant like flying birds
Everyday when the doorknob turned
I yearned for your pupils to widen
Show your true colors smiling
Not faded taken over by Satan crying
The small wages added new pages to nights of your rages
Never did I blame you for the aches we were facing
I'm sitting here tracing back to the day, when we first became this way
Was it last march, when we lost all of our starch?
Why have I been the only one marching on?
You've got to learn to burn the fattening carbs of sadness
These past few months have been complete utter madness
You let me down, I fell crumbled in astound
As you took another round of shots beginning to rot
It's been tragic to watch you clumsy and drunk
Sunken down in limbo waiting for the magic
It's time to man up! Batten down the hatches in your heart!
Because life won't reach greater heights if you're not smart!
Part from you’re devils, emerge be level with reality
Step away from the cork and connect once more with your sanity
Cell division shall begin again in humanity
You’ll rise from limbo to be there for your daughter
She witness all your self-slaughter
You owe a tub full of apologizes
But most importantly a kiss
That much she’s truly missed
Because you really disappeared
Gone in to the abyss
