These Eyes
Your call, I hear through the rain that falls
Your voice, ring through these deaf ears of mine
Your face, in my mind's eye that you haunt
These eyes, weep for those I cannot find
My call, just but a lonely echo
This voice, repeatedly asking why
This face, cracked and gray, but like stone
These eyes, empty with tears that I cry
Broken and hollow, yet with shards in my chest
These eyes can't hide the feelings that I've suppressed
Your voice, ring through these deaf ears of mine
Your face, in my mind's eye that you haunt
These eyes, weep for those I cannot find
My call, just but a lonely echo
This voice, repeatedly asking why
This face, cracked and gray, but like stone
These eyes, empty with tears that I cry
Broken and hollow, yet with shards in my chest
These eyes can't hide the feelings that I've suppressed
