Even The Blind Will See

I slowly climb the concrete pillar,
And ignore it's jagged edge.
Blood coats the crimson tower,
Though we proudly say the pledge.
We're being sacraficed to idols,
Though we wont believe it now.
We can't see it from this angle,
But they're forcing us to bow.
Can't you see it's all a ploy?
Of course not when you're so blind.
But when you look into the scripture
And the Lord comes to your mind...
He shows you how to climb the wall
That hides the sin, the blood, the gore.
And there are secrets behind the smiles,
That you didn't see before...
Lies are told to climb the steps.
People are crushed into the stone.
Yet we smile, and honor him.
When he should chill us to the bone.
Our trust is slowly broken down
Though it never should have been.
He may say you're safe with him.
But he will lead you into sin.
Who is the sinner, you may ask?
Don't ask yourself, or even me.
Look to His word, accept Jesus Christ,
And even the blind may start to see...
