Confidence

Take my confidence and shake it,
My self esteem and break it,
Tell me that I am special and then throw me to the side,
They say that that is where the grass is greener and the air is cleaner,
But I am only left hollow inside
Build me up to break me down
Only to rise and then fall to the ground,
Thank you for showing me that I am worthless as can be ,
And completely replaceable by anybody,
Say that I have talent,
And cast me off just a pitfall of the "biz"

It's hard to go through rejection but to be reflected so extreme,
When you know you deserve more than one little tedious things
My respect for you is gone,
I am not going to bend over backwards for you any more ,
The ball is no longer in your court.
