Behind a Sunrise

Remember the sunlight,
We'll never make it to december,
When it's so tempting to start a fire.

Don't try to turn a blind eye,
You hide the words you disguise,
You've set your own words on fire,
Trapped inside and covered in wires,
No way to bend our minds back in shape,
When you still refuse to let the letters escape,

Every single cut still burns and breaks,
Every little tear still burns your face.

Remember the sunlight,
Your words still hide behind that sunrise.
