Time Machine

Tick-tock, tick-tock,
Where has time taken me today?
Tick-tock, tick-tock,
I am little as can be.
The world around me is so big,
I don’t know anything yet,
I’m full of questions and adventures.
Tick-tock, tick-tock,
I am sleepy and grumpy,
Opening a locker for the first time today,
Everyone around me is a stranger to me,
I have to be up to date on this so called gossip,
But I have to focus on teachers and work instead.
Tick-tock, tick-tock,
Cupid shot me with his famous love arrow,
Cooties are for children now,
I think I’m in love,
The feeling is not mutual though,
This calls for a rebel.
Tick-toc, tick-toc,
My overrated school career has come to an end
The diploma now lays in my hand,
I have now been thrown out into the real world.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock,
Everything is now blank,
Nothing to see here,
The clock has stopped allowing my life to go on again.
