Yellow Moon

Illuminating moon casts a shadow over me
Wary of the trial ahead, I do not see
Red is the rain falling against my cheek
Strange is the hand that I seek

In a flash, a dream is had
Of destiny unchanged, good or bad
In a world of love and hate
I must lie in wait

My senses dull to the pain
I cry and scream and remain sane
I see a woman dressed in white
Smiling pulling me to a light
I see a man dressed in black
Hissing and yelling, like a cat

A battle is waged, when the moon is overhead
Dancing yellow over bodies long past dead
In a flash of a dream I awake
Scared, alone, I fracture and break
