Last Will & Testament

Allow me a few words
Before I testify against myself
A little longer to delay
But you'd grant me an audience
Idk why but you'd like to hear
What I have to say

There's no once upon a time
There's only the little bit of light
That shines through
There's only the you have the right
To remain silent
Cause anything I say can and will be
Used against you

No point in what I thought
Only what matters now
When I'm so under scrutiny
Just the Constance
Of this third degree
Wrapped up in silence all around
I may never know how to tell you
But I'm damn good at writing it down

So with the last rites christened
Blessed with all those who know
I take a final look around
Before we burn all that remained
And let this go
