there is so much more to me than what you can see
there are more sides to me than what you think
they dwell in my head and make life living hell
and only you can break their spell
so if i let you meet them all
please tell me if you would run away
im not an open book you cant read me in a day
so please tell me that youre here to stay
i wont let them hurt you
theyre all in my head
so dont leave me here all alone
they taunt and they tease when it all goes wrong
i cant escape because all of us are one
im a prisoner to my own madness
and only you can bail me out
ive told you everything and youve pushed me away
you lied and said that youd never leave
you were the one who kept them silent , held them back
now youre gone and theyre on the attack
theyre eating away at my sanity
while you are losing your humanity

this is a poem i wrote about a girl who is trying to tell the boy she loves about the voices she hears in her head and how he keeps them at bay. but after she tells him he breaks up with her and keeps her at a distance as the people in her head come back and his heart turns cold. p.s this is my first poem on mibba please tell me what you think.
