Choices

Life is all about choices
Many choices are decided for us
Taking control away from us
Other choices are ours to make
("Most of mine were made in error")
My first intentional decision was...
"It’s my life, I’ll decide what is best for me"
That didn’t work out as well as I had hoped
But then, who knows if another choice would have been worse
Looking back, I’m thinking that the journey I started
May have been better, if I had simply stayed home.
