Queen of Asia and France

I was the queen once, of Asia and France,
Peasants would bow and kiss the palm of my hand.
But they came, and took away memories of life and love,
And I longed for the sword, I longed for the blood.
They hid me away with no light and no matches,
And still I forced my self to look at all of my ashes.
A queen overturned, a kingdom overthrown,
But I find myself still wondering home.
I search for the windows of colors and glass,
But my futures defined by the war of my past.
So I'll hide underground for the rest of days,
Live the life of black, white, and grey.

...

The story behind this is my imagination as a little kid and how it went wrong as I grew older.
Yeah.. I don't know. It's kind of cheesy.
