Slopeside

Can I believe it?
No!
Can I believe it?
No, I can’t
Can you believe it?
It’s already here
Now I believe it!
Here we go…
The week is over
And nothing’s holding
Me to the ground
Gravity’s over
Gravity’s done for
Gravity lost its way…

It won’t always work
But it did today
And now I’m happy again

So let’s move to the slopeside
Where no one ever keeps us down
Hear me out
‘Cause my voice takes up airwaves too
And thanks for giving
Away your time and letting us
Come to you.

Can you hear me?
Yeah!
Can you hear me?
Yeah, I can
And I can hear you!
Loud and clear
I hear you laughing
Straight at me.
So Saturday’s here
And I got no fear
Another week, I’ll be
Still as a sunburn
I know ‘cause I learned
From all the past years earned.

You got today and
You got tomorrow
You got it made, my friend

So why you crying?
Smile, your soul
Is always burning
It never stops.
And all this racket
We’ll ride a rocket
Straight to the moon.
Over the near side
And to the far side
No one can make me say…

Why the heck didn't I post this with the rest of Plaster Caster's ol' songs when I uploaded a poop ton a little while back...? Nevermind, I don't know, and I wrote this song in eighth grade about getting nervous over silly things. It's got a weird time signature and I don't know what to call it.
