Running Thoughts

Sometimes the thoughts come back
Everything turns black
I don't want it to
It's not a feeling that's new
Sometimes I just get lost
And I pay, at such a terrible cost
I wish I didn't think about it
I wish there was something else to get
Instead, my mind rots
It twists and turns and tumbles
Nothing quiets the rumble
I'm afraid there's nothing else to do
There's no one else to sue
It's my fault and I know it is
I just wish I had time for one last kiss.

I haven't written anything in so long. I don't even know where this came from. It just felt so good to get out. I think I'm going to start writing again. Feed back is very much welcomed!
