He had his arms around my waist,
smiling down at my face.
I gently touched the back of his neck,
We were both caught in the moment,
In a daze.
The next thing I knew,
We met at mid night,
Took the next flight and left the city.
We flew to Rome, his hand in mine
We walked the streets,
No worries,
Today was our day to love.
My world was there in his beautiful eyes,
I knew it was all too good to be true.
My alarm went off just before we kissed.
