What's Within Your Heart

God has given you the gift
Of a heart that's filled with love.
Share it with those around you,
Don't ever cover it up.

Give, just give.
Reach into your heart.
One small act won't save mankind,
But it will surely be a start.

Watch the results of your kindness,
And the ripples it creates.
Watch as this chain reaction
Becomes the biggest of waves.

Do onto others
As He has taught you to.
Be kind and give without end
As He has done for you.

Help the weak succeed,
Aid the strong in their tasks.
Always live second to God,
And do everything he asks.

Be kind to your neighbors,
Your family and your friends,
And know that the love within your heart
Truly has no end.

But do not expect
That your kindness will be returned,
And do not think that kindness
Is something that must be earned.

Give without expecting,
Be kind without a thought,
Build your family upon His teachings
And your house upon the rock.
