Fragments of Myself
I look into the mirror I see pieces,
fragments of my former myself,
my disintegration never ceases,
former parts placed upon a shelf
Bits scattered here and there,
broken away from my past,
shattered about everywhere;
fragments separated by the blast
Torn away by myself contempt,
not quite whole, not complete,
to be whole again I will attempt;
I refuse to give into self defeat
fragments of my former myself,
my disintegration never ceases,
former parts placed upon a shelf
Bits scattered here and there,
broken away from my past,
shattered about everywhere;
fragments separated by the blast
Torn away by myself contempt,
not quite whole, not complete,
to be whole again I will attempt;
I refuse to give into self defeat
