Corrupted World

Once there was a little girl
Stuck inside a corrupted world
Filled with money, abuse, and drugs
No one there to feel her hugs
Filled with dead and leafless trees
Murky, gray, and blueless seas
Filled with mean, malicious men
Seems they strayed from their pen
Filled with violence; guns and knives
And gray-skinned people who sell their lives
Filled with hatred, lust and greed
Growing and growing, like a weed
The only way she sees out
To stop the voices, that scream and shout
Is dream forever in her bed,
And put the barrel to her head.
